Its impossible to say w/o seeing it on you, but that gown would probably look perfect on a small 5'1" woman. Sweethearts usually complement any chest size... unless you're heavy busted.
Its a beautiful gown and probably has a lower pricetag than similar Maggie Sottero gowns? Fabulous find!
Thanks @mandalee...I'm not big busted, and I love sweetheart tops which is one of the reasons I love this dress! I'm a huge fan of Maggie dresses and thought that's what I would end up with, but when the consultant told me the price on this one ($700) I got even happier since my budget is under $1000! And it looks like most of the Maggie dresses I have favorited.

So funny, I was shopping alone when I found this dress too. I had been a few times with a bunch of people and I felt like it was really confusing. When I went shopping alone I found this dress and loved it, but now I'm having second thoughts and wondering if I should've gotten a trumpet style... It's hard because no one has seen me in it and the pictures are of me in a dress that is 3 sizes too big. I'm 5'7" and a street size 2 or 4. I am going to have the beading removed that goes under the chest so that it is just along the top. Was the dress that you tried on too big for you?
I hope my insecurities aren't rubbing off on you.. I think I'm being silly and once I see it I will remember why I chose it. I'm sure that if you loved it, then it's the right dress for you!
I will try to upload a picture, but they aren't very good... I included the picture with the flash covering my face because the woman is beind me pulling the dress tighter. She wouldn't clip it because she said it would ruin the beading in the back.
Hmmm.... I guess my pictures didn't work, sorry!

I was by myself when I went to try on dresses the other day. This was not my first trip out, so I thought instead of trying to find a date that worked for my mom, my sister (MOH) and myself that I'd scope out the shop alone and if I found anything worthwhile we'd all go back together. So, this was the first gown I tried on and I have to say, I think I'm in love!
But, since there was no one there to see it with me, I need some feedback from the bees! What do you think ladies, could this be the one?
It's the Mori Lee 2505 (if anyone has this dress PLEASE tell me how you like it or show me pics!) I don't have a pic of me in it, but I'm 5' 1" and a size 4....if that would help you visualize.
