hi ladies. I could really use some help With dinnerware options! My wedding colors are rose gold, peach and cream And it will be semi formal. My original idea was gold chargers with white and gold plates. However I ran across these and I just love something about them. I think they would look cute with gold chargers but is it too “cutesy”?

Does your venue provide plates? I dont feel like tableware takes or adds anything to a venue, and to spend so much money on new tableware for one day seems like such a waste.
what colour are your tableclothes and napkins? Are you doing centerpieces? What else will be on the table with them?
they are cute, but they may be a little “busy” though, especially if youre going to have a centerpiece, and napkins, and menus, and table cards. I would keep it simple and do white with gold chargers.

I don’t think it is too cutesy. It seems unique. I like unique details at weddings and receptions. It seems more personal.

trishatm9: It seems like it is an expense that you should forego, unless you have a HUGE wedding budget.

Actually these are from ikea ($3) there will only be about 70 people tops. my mom has offered to buy my dinnerware which I am eternally grateful for. As far as centerpieces go, tall vases with flowers over head And candles on table. So the table won’t be super busy. Also, half of my tables will have ivory table linens that my aunt made for my cousins wedding (very blessed) and the other half will be a peachy, gold color. Our venue doesn’t have catering so we are doing food ourselves. It’s semi formal but I want a comfortable and fun feeling. oh, I also found 72 chargers for $50 from another bride so that was a steal!

Also no table cards. I want people to sit where they want. So no menu and no table cards, flowers high, candles on table. So it would be a gold charger, the plates, silverware and napkins
