I am!!! 14 days to go! I'm saying goodbye to:
-a horrid loud neighbour who is not so nice to his girlfriend
-RENT!
-the neighbourhood I've been living in for 3.5 years
-my single life (sliiiiightly sad about this one....)
Hello to:
-all new appliances and furniture...the first time to have a dryer in ELEVEN years!
-soooo much more room
-a second bathroom!
-more windows and sunlight!
Moving next month. I will still be an apartment dweller, but it is so much nicer than my current place! I will actually have counter space and a closet than can fit all of my clothes!!! Oh and valet trash service, which is my fav cause I'm lazy :)
Moving in hopefully a month from now depends on when closing is!
Good bye to living with his dad, and having no room for all our stuff. And the big backyard and deck, which I am sad about. And my great friend who lives across the street, also sad about. And not paying rent/mortgage what I am SUPER sad about (hey, it would be great to not have to pay to live there, right??)
Hello to having our very own house, and being alone for the first time ever!
Can't wait to see pics of everyone's new place!
We close this month but since we have to do some remodeling we are actually waiting until we come back from our honeymoon to move in.
I am saying goodbye to living with my parents. Goodbye to my dad leaving protein shakes around the house. Goodbye to my mom removing the tissue box from my nightstand, she can't stand anything that you can see in plain site so she removes everything and she drives me crazy. They aren't really bad but some little things just drive me crazy.
And goodbye to someone else doing the food shopping and paying the mortgage and all of the utilities.
But I am saying hello to, my own house! With my own rules on my own terms. Hello to living with FI for the first time and having our alone time. I am getting excited about being able to have company over to my place!
My Fi was opposed to us living together before marraige. My lease was up in December so my landlord is letting me live month to month until the wedding... so I will move my stuff in this month for our May 2 wedding and come live with him after the wedding.
I am not so super excited because his house is older and smaller than my townhouse. :o( But HOPEFULLY we will be putting an offer on a log house we LOVE LOVE LOVE this summer. Cross your fingers for me girls!
That brings me to another question, how to I tell him I want to speed up this new house thing when he's so attached to his curren home? I feel like he thinks I hate his house (ok, on some levels I do) but I don't want to hurt his feelings... but I don't want to live there! He HITS HIS HEAD ON HIS CEILING FAN!!!! OMG!!!

YES! Today brings 36 days!!!
Can't wait to stop paying my landlords mortgage.
Can't wait to decorate, paint, work in the yard, plant a garden, actually meet our neighbors (ive never met anyone on my street in the 2+years I've been in the our apartment). Sooo Soooo Soooo excited!
And mostly I am excited for the roller coaster that is applying for a mortgage to be over with. Ahhh :)
Oh and I also can't wait for Christmas time in the house. Because I have visions of the Christmas tree infront of our big picture window, and lights in the front of the house.
Oh my God...I want to move in RIGHT NOW!!
35 Days until we close!
I'm looking forward to the following:
4 weeks and 6 days more! The other day, a renter called to see our apartment, making the wait feel shorter than it is actually is! I'm getting anxious and kind of scared!
16 days!
Goodbye 2 flights of stairs and powder blue bathroom tiles with matching seashell sink. Goodbye RENT. Goodbye lovely 1920's built-ins - you I will miss.
YAY to being able to PAINT, no more sticky sweaty public transportation, no more tandem parking with neighbors and SUPER YAY to getting a PUPPY!!
3 weeks and 4 days to go! The downstairs neighbors has now gotten their once friendly children to snear at us! They STILL think we're the ones that play the piano at all hours of the night (and even left a threatening message because of it)! We don't even have a piano! 
It's the other aholes next door. I sooo can't wait to leave!
We are!! We haven't set closing dates yet but guessing about 4 Weeks till moving day! I can't wait to get moved and have closets and storage!
Goodbye to:
11 days for me.
I will be saying goodbye to: my stupid frat boy neighbor who has 20 people in a 500 square foot apartment every Friday night for a drunken party. This is no exaggeration. Every single night since the past June. They yell and scream and break beer bottles until at least 3 in the morning. We have called the police three times, resulting in someone gettng arrested, and have gone to the apartment managers twice. It also came to a head one weekend where I lost my mind and got in their faces at about 1:00 on a Saturday morning.
We're breaking our lease because of it...and not paying the fee because those neighbors violated my "reasonable expectation of quiet".
And we'll be starting our cross country drive in only 8 days!
We just confirmed our final appointment with the bank in just a week and a half! Ack! Although I just posted the other day, I feel like things are going lightning fast! It's basically 3 more weeks until our move-in date! Where'd the time go? 
I move August 1st and I can't WAIT!
Goodbye neighbor who cooks stinky food (and hates me)

HELLO back yard AND second bedroom (and bathroom!)
Closing in a WEEK from today!!! Ahhhh
Goodbye to paying rent for nothing! Goodbye to the 5 yappy dogs across the street! Goodbye to the smallest house ever! And goodbye to the prostitute that lives behind our house (NO freakin joke).
Tomorrow is our final mortgage appointment tying-up all the loose ends for the closing on the 14th.
Here both the buyers and sellers go to the bank at closing to transfer money and get the keys (kinda like a used car sale back home). So everything needs to be set tomorrow in order for the closing to go smoothly. Then 12 days after, we get the keys and move-in.
Less than 2-wks to go. Wow ...
Goodbye late-night piano playing neighbors (that are at it as I type this)! Please keep playing non-stop, especially after we move so that the idiots downstairs will realize all their anger was directed at the wrong ppl.
The seller just called and asked if we'd like to come-by on Sunday so they can show us where a few things are. They also mentioned that they're having their new place renovated and tonight will be their last night there. We haven't set a time yet but now we're wondering if we should bring a few boxes with us on Sunday (our move-in/close date is the following day, Monday, June 14th).
I'm all excited now! 5-6 more days!

I sure am! On Tues it'll be 9 weeks exactly until our move-in date. I can't wait! Anyone else counting down their move? What are you saying goodbye to?
