You can have class with some color, yet I'm in the same boat ... thinking of a more muted palette. I'd suggest going with your gut and want you prefer, and not just changing colors to appease your photographer. What were you planning for flowers?
I was hoping for beige and white with a touch of green, but I'm not sure if that would blend in with the walls as well since they are beige.
I'm getting married at a golf course/country club. When choosing my wedding colors I did not think about the colors of the room at all. I knew what I wanted, no matter the location, and I know it'll work. There are many weddings that I have been to or seen pictures of where the colors don't match the room and it works. I think the wedding colors should come from your heart, what you truely want, not just want you think will look good with what's already there.

I just went to visit a photographer the other day who didn't suggest using white or beige for my wedding. She said it doesn't show as well as brighter colors. But because my wedding and ceremony are at a country club, I want it to be classy. Does anyone have any suggestions?
