@MrsEmployed:  I used to work at a country club and as such saw LOTS of weddings.  The ones I remember that stood out from the rest did some of the following:


Used the fireplaces – for candles, for floral arrangements, SOMETHING.

Had flowers – LOTS OF FLOWERS.

Had personalized, local favors.


Our country club only offered some linens, in white or ivory, so if you’re looking to really change things up people hired linen companies to come in with another color for the tables, runners, etc.

Also, ours ALWAYS had the same room set up – maybe ask your coordinate how you can change things up, what unique room set ups have been done in the past and how they worked out.
