- Wedding: November 2014
We are having a rustic, southern comfort, autumn wedding…in New Jersey.
Any NJ bees can tell you this is not super common for the greater metro area, but it’s what we like, it’s who we are and it’s what we’re doing! Our reception is in a barn, our caterer will be doing smoked meats, cornbread and comfort food in lieu of your typical “wedding food”. Nothing about our reception is typical for our area.
We’d prefer it if you not fist pump LOL!!
Annnnywaym that said, we met with a DJ yesterday who looked at us like we had 4 heads lol. He’s a friend, so his reaction wasn’t unprofessional. But since he has little to no knowledge of country music, it seems we’re going to have to supply him with a list of country we want played randomly. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not going to be exclusively so. Maybe sprinkled in during dinner and a fast one during the dancing, I don’t know.
So country bees, what are some suggestions to give him?? Like I said, we’ll pretty much have to supply him with any and all from the country genre. Are there any upbeat country songs (not like line dancing lol) that would make you get up out of your seat??
