I had someone suggest putting a poem, quote, or music lyric on our wedding invitations, which I love the idea. I would prefer to find a country music lyric because we both love country music and our wedding is more of a southern style. Also we will have a few signs sitting around at the reception, that are country music lyrics. Any idea for which one I could use on the invites?
Thanks Bees 🙂

Here are some options
Rascall Flatts: “This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you”
Shania Twain: “From this moment you are the one. Right beside you is where I belong from this moment on” or “”Through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow for better, for worse, I will love you.”
George Strait: “From here on after let’s stay the way we are right now and share all the love and laughter that a lifetime will allow”
Faith hill and Tim Mcgraw – “Better than I was, more than I am and all of this happened, by takin’ your hand.”
Kenny Chesney – Every day I live I try my best to give All I have to you. I thank the stars above That we share this love, me and you.

I like something shorter.
Safe in the arms of love
I’ll still love you more
I’ll love you with every beat of my heart
I will, I am, I can, I have, I do
If Tomorrow never comes
I do, cherish you

I like what the other posters suggested; were you looking for an entire phrase, or just shorter catch phrase?
Here’s my suggestions:
- An older song by Clint Black that’s called Something that we Do:
Love isn’t something that we have It’s something that we do
We’re on a road that has no end and each day we begin again
Love’s not just something that we’re in
It’s something that we do.
- Or Bigh And Rich: Lost in this Moment
Sealing our love with a kiss
Waited my whole life for this
Watching all my dreams come true
Lost in this moment with you

It’s more than sowing some seeds
It takes sun and water
So give it what it needs
And that’s how you fall in love
