- Wedding: September 2011
I am new on here, as I am also newly engaged (last weekend)! However, the boy and I decided to go ahead and get hitched in early September, despite how impossible that sounds… a little over 3 months to plan a wedding for 300 guests (yes, it HAS to be 300 guests).
Due to venue availability, budget, and number of guests… we think we have narrowed down our reception hall options. 1 is a country club that is somewhat older and not quite as nice our other choice, but somewhat country (thou not overtly so). The second choice is a georgous old Victorian house (complete with stain glass windows!). The only problem? I have always dreamed of a country wedding.
I actually always wanted a barn reception; and at very least I know that a few sunflowers and cowboy boots for line dancing NEED to make an appearance. However, that seems rediculous within the Victorian house!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to merge these two clashing styles??
