I’m ordering my dress from Ieie Bridal on Etsy (originally was going with FabU but after horrible Bee reviews + horrible fabric samples I decided on Wendy instead) and one of the measurements I need to provide is “waist to train.”
Cue me realizing I haven’t given that much thought to a train. Whoops! I figured out that I don’t want a long (or even medium) train, and I also don’t want to have a bustle, so I need to keep it pretty short; I just have no idea how short. Like is 6-8 inches from the back of the dress going to look silly?
Here’s a pic of the back of the dress I’m replicating – even the train here is a bit long for me. Do you think I could get away with taking a few inches off the length that she has in the picture, or should I just drop the train all together? I do love the extra bit of detailing at the edge, but I also don’t want to ruin the dress that night :-/
Thanks for your help!! 🙂
