Bring flowers, dress up, take lots of pictures. This is your moment and you'll want to remember it. More than anything, the most important thing is that you're marrying the man you love
izzieblu,
HUGE congrats on finding your true love!!!
We *just* did a thread about ideas for courthouse weddings! You can see it here:
Hope this helps you out. Best of luck to you, be sure to post pics afterwards!
Best,
-Lori
I would purchase a bouquet and dress up. I would recruit a friend to take photos during the ceremony, and choose a favorite place to eat after the ceremony to celebrate with immediate family and friends.
Good luck in your marriage and best wishes to you!

We're getting married in two weeks at the courthouse. I've read some of the posts here and other places on the internet and I'm in tears now. I don't want this occassion to be non-romantic, like the dentists office. This is my 4th marriage. I've had the traditional BIG wedding, #2. The 1st wedding was by a notary outside, only family attended. The 3rd was in church by two pastors. NOW, I have truly found the love of my life. It is the 'love at first sight' story. After three months of meeting Kevin asked me to marry him, I said yes and we're still in love today.
How can I make these few minutes at the courthouse memorable and romantic? I'm not wearing a wedding dress, but thought I would dress the part from the waist up. Would that be tacky? And whatever I do wear, I want him to be dressed to match.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Paula
