Weddingbee boards

We did a courthouse wedding and to be honest we were the most dressed up people there! So many other couples were in jeans and Tshirts. I couldn't believe it. I wore a more conservative basic dress (sleeveless and cut just above my knees) and my fiance/husband wore dress pants and a collared shirt with a tie. We're still having an actual wedding with a church ceremony and recpetion when he comes back from deployment.

Anyway, about the dress. Honest opinion? Don't hate me but I don't know if it's appropriate. To me it looks very 'prom' or like you're going to a party, not getting married. I think it's super cute for any other fun event but maybe not a courthouse wedding. That dress is very trendy but you make look back and wish you did something more classic or timeless. That's at least how I viewed it. I say if you absolutely love it get it and wear out to dinner after your courthouse ceremony or for Florida! But personally I would try to find something different.

I don't think the dress is "hoochie" its very cute. Your FI should complement the dress with maybe a button down shirt with jeans or dress slacks and shoes. You will be fine.
