@Stellar Magnitude: what about at Brennans? They have a nice small courtyard, and if you needed to use one of the rooms, they're all gorgeous!
Although i'm not sure if they do weddings. was just in nawlins and its the first place i could think of, tho i am sure there are SO MANY gorgeous enchanting places!! good luck!

I'd ask the NOLA conventions board- they have great wedding consultants!
@CassidyR: I never even thought of that! Are you talking about the Forever New Orleans "branch" of the NOLA CVB? I think I've heard of that before.
i'd also look at madame john's legacy, benachi house (may be a bit big for you), the courtyard at cafe amelie, house of broel, bombay club? broussards also has a lovely courtyard, as does the w hotel downtown- not sure how much of a consideration budget is for you.
we decided to go bigger with our wedding, so went with the columns hotel, but this is one of the ideas we considered- hope my legwork helps you out!
when i lived in NOLA, i attended 3 weddings at the maison dupuy hotel. they were fantastic.
oh, also check out the princess of monaco carriage house and courtyard on royal. i always thought it would be awesome to have a small wedding there!

I'd like to have an outdoor ceremony and reception in one location.
I'd prefer a courtyard that's not too large, but can handle around 35 or 40 guests. I'd really like a fountain and some pretty lighting in there, too.
Anyone have any ideas?
