A position I applied for and interviewed for seems to have come open again in a company I would DIE to work for. I’ve updated my resume but am really stumped on a cover letter. Do I acknowledge that I’m applying again? Do I reference the same sort of things (most likely still the most relevent to the position)? Do I scrap the original completely and try to start fresh? It’s complicated by the fact that it’s for a nonprofit I volunteer for, so I had included a couple sentences about my passion for the organization in the original – do I do that again? I also know the woman who is doing the hiring but only as well as any volunteer knows her – we’ve had one on one conversations but nothingi personal. ANY advice would be great! Normally I can tackle this but I am totally lost here.
