I am using cover weight (80 lb) for my invitation/inserts. Are you planning to make the pockets from the Stardream, or the invitation itself? Inkjet printers won’t print onto Stardream metallic paper; you’ll need to use a laser printer or get printing professionally done. I’m using Stardream Ruby as a backing/mat for my invitation inside the pocketfold, then printing on linen-textured cover stock. I’ll cut the linen piece slightly smaller so a border of the Stardream paper will show around it.

I would use cover, if your laser takes cardstock well. If it doesn’t,I’d use text weight, and mount it onto another colored layer of cardstock.
