    I prefer buttons because I think they’re so elegant !

    But lace up would have been my choice if I had bought my dress online, because it’s easier to fit in without too much alteration.

    @BurlapnLace:  I wanted a corset and I’m glad I got one… stupid weight gain!

    I love buttons! my dresa has an invisible zipper and wouldn’t look right with buttons though.

    For reasons I can’t quite pin point I absolutely do not care for a tied corset back. It was my one requirement while dress shopping: do not show me a tied corset back. I just really don’t like the way it looks.

    Buttons all the way! I prefer tidy/clean looks and lines and I find corset backs just don’t give that look.

    I never thought I would like a wedding dress with buttons but it is beautiful! The infinity button looks great! My dress is a zipper though.

    Buttons all the way! I think my dress is the best of everything though because it’s covered buttons with zip underneath. It’s easy to put on but still looks pretty. When my dress comes in I’m considering into adding more buttons because right now they stop at my lower back.

    I like both but I think I prefer buttons a tad more. I tried on both types of gowns but ended up with a button-back (was not a deciding factor, but it didn’t hurt).

    I suspect corsets have run their course in wedding fashion for the time being, but I bet they’ll pop back up again sometime.

    Here’s my button-up back (not the best phot but you get the idea)

    Anything but corset! I just don’t like it for some reason.  My dress has a zipper with buttons going all the way down. .well actually it goes button button bling button button bling lol!

    Completely depends on the dress – with your dress, a corset would look strange, and I think the buttons look beautiful on it.

    I love buttons because they’re so elegant!  But it’s a much harder situation to control – the dress must fit perfectly (so cutting and tailoring have to be perfect, and no weight fluctuations).

    I think it really depends on the dress. Mine has a corset and I can’t imagine it with buttons, but I adore buttons on other dresses.

    I love buttons, but I’m a big chested woman with a small waist. No way was a zipper going to give me the shape a corset did, or the security. Corset all the way.

    I prefer Corsets.
