    There’s airbrushing and I believe Sephora has somehting you can use.

    As a side, if you’re going to do this, talk to your BMs about it first and you pay for it.

    Except in the instance of incredibly offensive tattoos I do not think it’s appropriate to ask your bridesmaids to cover their tattoos.

    You don’t want to see pictures of your bridal party, the people you love, looking the way they actually … do?

    Probably easier to hire models! This way you can totally color coordinate them.

    I agree with ^^ that if you want to do this, you should cover the cost.  Dermablend makes a concealer specifically for tattoos.

    Are their tattoos offensive?  Unless they are curse words or something equally vulgar, I think it is not cool to ask BMs to cover their tattoos.  You knew about the tattoos when you asked them, right?  It is unfair to ask them to hide something that is part of themselves, in my opinion.  This is coming from someone with no tattoos, and with a BM who has a huge one on her back, FWIW.

    I don’t think it’s a resonable request, barring any offensive tattoos and even then, you knew about the tattoo and still asked them to be in your bridal party. I agree with PPs, even if they’re okay with it you need to foot the bill.

    If they had tattoo’s when you asked them to be in it, maybe it would be better to just let them show them? I personally don’t think it will effect how much you like your wedding photos in the future, but if you really hate them, and your BM’s are willing to go along with it (I agree that you should pay for it) Kat Von D makes a tattoo cover up that you can get at sephora.

    Maybe think about just editing the tattoo’s out of your pictures later?

    I have tattoos and I would be offended if I was asked to cover them up as they are a part of me. My MOH has 7 tattoos not in hidden places and you can hardly see any of them in the pictures, nor can you see mine.

    I agree with PPs. If you are going to force them to cover their tattoos, you need to pay for it. Kat Von D makes a tattoo concealer you can buy at Sephora.

    My MOH has full sleeves on both arms. I know it’s not exactly “wedding appropriate” and it might be shocking to some of our older guests, but I knew all of this before I asked her. No way in hell I’d ask her to hide a part of herself.

    Just saw your response. +1 🙂

    @msreg08:  Wow, I wasn’t expecting that turn out 🙂

    I’m glad to hear. It just drives me nuts when people try to change people for pictures. You want pictures of your beautiful, amazing day with the people who love you. That’s what they look like! And years from now, when your kids look at your albums and see Auntie Carol or whatever, don’t you think they’re going to ask where her giant chest dragon tattoo is? Because … she still has it!

    You get the point. Good on you!
