My beautiful v-neck dress seemed modest and tasteful when I tried it on in the store, but now that I see it on me in the right size, I’m worried about the amount of cleavage revealed!!
It’s not plunging, by any means, but I am a pretty conservative girl. Although we are not getting married in a synagogue (and thus I don’t have to cover my shoulders), we do have a rabbi officiating. I would love a way to minimize the cleavage during the ceremony, while showing off this gorgeous dress at the reception. Boleros tend to just frame the cleavage, and shawls seem bulky/tedious under my fingertip veil. Any suggestions? How did you cover up on the big day?

Can you add a modesty panel? Just a bit of lace in the V?

Unfortunately, it looks really weird with a modesty panel. The dress is very plain (no embelishments or lace), and much of the visual interest is actually in the cut and folds of the neckline…so adding a panel changes the look of the whole dress to something that I don’t like nearly as much.

A cape? They can clasp ion the front and cover the whole bust.
Also, a pic? We LOVE pictures.
