I did trials with both, and I preferred the airbrush makeup. It lasted much longer on me. (actually lasted into breakfast the next morning, although I know I should have washed it off before going to sleep)
I did regular foundation and concealer, and it was great, and lasted 12 hours, no problem! Even with airbrush, they usually use coverup/concealer on your undereyes and other blemishes before spraying you (so your poll is kind of off).
