I am going dress shopping in the next few months. We are having an outdoors country vintage wedding and of course my bridal party and I will be wearing our boots! I dont want a short dress and I don’t want a ball gown. I will probably buy it from David’s Bridal. What are some dress styles that wont be too hot for an outdoors wedding, wont be clashing with my boots, and of course will be showing them off a little? I am so indecisive and lost!

The first thing that comes to mind is chiffon.. Something light and airy I think!

I second chiffon, but I will also suggest organza/lace. I see those dresses fitting well with your country theme. I do not imagine satin or anything heavy like that.

A dress with different lengths of material that come down at a point at the hemline. So there’s lots of movement in the dress.

I would definitely suggest that you bring your boots to dress-shopping! (I bought my shoes before I got my dress)
Probably avoid trumpet. The dress that I would recommend is this one that I tried on DB:
I think it was an Oleg Cassini from DB. It’s long in the back and tea-length in front.. AND it’s got pockets! (Just photoshop cowgirl boots where my Mary-Jane is showing )
ETA: CKP558 on DB Catalogue. (The one I picked was CMK513)

I agree that you should bring your boots with you dress shopping! I thought of high-low hem dresses – is that still too short for you?
Something like this:
Otherwise, I kinda think an a-line dress would be just fine, I particularly like lace gowns with cowboy boots!
