What are you working on this weekend? My FH is gone for the weekend so I am thinking that I would like to knock out a few DIY Projects. I am thinking that I will TRY to get my favor tags done but tackling over 100 little tags and glueing and cutting doesn’t sound fun. I also might work on the layout for my rehersal invites and etch flower vases for my Bridesmaids. Hmmm but do I etch a monogram or just their first initial (I have two K’s)

I will be busy ! My Fiance is gone for the weekend too. I plan on testing out my cookie favors. So I will be baking and icing butterfly cookies 🙂 I also have my beaded head table vases to finish. And I have to add ribbon to all of my votive holders for around my center pieces..I have about 80 to do. And I am thinking if I have time on working on my I SPY game 🙂

I should probably get a head start on my Save-The-Date Cards since I have the time before my semester starts and I’ll be swamped. However, I bought everything I need to start fiddling with my bouquets, and that’s what I really want to do! 🙂

I will be working on my rehearsal/party dress. I hope to get it finished this weekend. I might set up my candy jars to see how I want to decorate them; ie., labels/tags and ribbon.

DIY weekend for sure! 🙂
I’m hoping to finalize my invitation design (and all inserts that go with it, rsvp card, etc), working on my ribbon pomander centerpieces and hopefully find a ceremony timeline that I like online!

@jayelcee85: Etching is one of my FAV things to do. I actually just etched rocks glasses for the 6 guys to have at the bachelor party.
I use my cricut machine and contact paper to cut out my template. I then attach that to my glass in desired place. I apply etching cream and let sit over night. I have found that if I let it sit for the short time the bottle says the etch is too light.
This is a set of vases I did for someone else a year ago but I am wanting the same thing.

Those vases look awesome!
I’m going to try and work on programs this weekend as well as test run our favors.
