Date twin! I am constantly 'crafting' my son's scrapbook, and doing some DIY stuff for the wedding too. I love having 'craft time' :)
@andilene: I've put the wedding on the back burner for now, to stressed about it. FI has some wedding to-dos and he's been working on it. I haven't crocheted for a while, and this is my first project for someone else.
I'll be DIY'ing our "escort" cards. While its seat yourself, it'll have their cupcake choice. I would looove to scrapbook.
Also, don't know if you're into baskeball, but we're watching your Bucks right now!
Haha, are you?! I don't normally watch basketball, but the FH does keep up with them (and all sports, as Wisconsin men do lol).
How many cupcake choices are you giving? We have a table of cupcakes, 4 different flavors. I honestly hadn't done much wedding stuff since Thanksgiving, so I had to get back on it. Having a 3 year old during the holiday season means that the only thing that matters is SANTA! And I put my son first, so this weekend really marks the first time I've been able to concentrate on wedding stuff!
I love scrapbooking! I did my son's first year pretty detailed, but now I just do holidays and the yearly professional pictures we have done of him. I really want him to be able to look back at his life one day in a year by year format you know? And it will be interesting to a future wife and family :)
@andilene: I went to school with Larry Sanders so it's pretty fun.
Since we're having an all you can eat buffet, we're doing 9 cupcake choices. Chocolate, Vanilla, Hummingbird, Carrot, Pina Colada, Chocolate Banana, Strawberry, Mango Coconut Lime and Strawberry Kiwi.
My BFF scrapbooks so she's gonna scrapbook our wedding for us as our gift. And I could see how the first year would be heavily documented, and after that fall off/slow down.

THAT IS AN AMAZING AMOUNT OF CUPCAKES! I am in awe, lol, that's an amazing display of cupcakes. Are you having a large wedding?
I think it's very sweet your bff is scrapbooking your wedding! That will be a blessing for you in years to come.
@andilene: Probably about 100 people. But it's a baseball game, so we'll offer the staff some cupcakes and stuff too. So we ordered 13 dozen. And they're supplying someone to do it. I'm hoping they'll be pretty.

Ok I need you to explain your wedding to me. Because you are playing a baseball game, or you are watching one or you are having it at a baseball field? So many things are running through my mind now!
@andilene: Before a baseball game, at a baseball field. Then we'll watch the team (Richmond Flying Squirrels) play baseball after. We've got a suite and a whole section of the seats to ourselves.
That is about the coolest thing I've ever heard. We are big Milwaukee Brewer fans and my FI loves baseball in all forms. I'm thinking your guests will be amazed! Is this common for your area or something y'all came up with?
@andilene: Something we thought of while we were there for batting practice with the team (we're season ticket holders). We were sitting in the picnic area and we walked to the top of the seating area and looked down and FI said, it'd be cool if we got married here. It was the first he had mentioned of a wedding. Before we were engaged. And it honestly was, all we paid for was the guests tickets to the picnic area. And then I got us a suite because my niece has seizures and I figured what was another $700 for A/C for them. Plus I can change right there, and the cupcakes can be stored in the A/C.

What are you crafting right now?
My coworker found out she's having a little girl, so I went and picked up some yarn, her colors are pink, brown and granny smith apple green. So I'm crocheting her a blanket with this yarn.
I think I might do the boarder of the blanket in the green. Depending on how it turns out. Might crochet a few rows around it.
