I’m also 4 1/2 weeks and I’ve had dull nagging cramps for the past 4-5 days. It’s definitely normal 🙂

It’s normal 🙂 I freaked out due to cramping and spotting and saw my doctor at 5 weeks. Cramping is totally normal, unless it’s really, really bad. I’m only 6 weeks now, but man, your body goes through some quick changes!

I am also about 4-5 weeks and have been cramping.  Sometimes it feels like I’m about to get my period at any minute!

16 weeks and STILL having cramping randomly, though not as bad as it was in the first trimester.  I literally was having cramps all the time.  Looking back now I’m not sure if that was my uterus/bowels or both (I was also severely constipated for most of 1st tri), but they were scary nonetheless!  As long as there’s no bleeding, there’s nothing to worry about (unless the cramps have you like doubled over, short of breath, pain).  Heck, even if there IS bleeding, sometimes it’s still normal (I had a bleeding scare around 8 weeks…thought for sure I was having a miscarriage, and nope! Everything was perfectly normal! Turns out if you strain so hard trying to poop, you can bust a blood vessel on your cervix…that’s when I hit the stool softeners twice as hard haha).

@emersynsmommy35:  I put off taking an HPT because I was cramping enough that I thought I was going to get AF within the next day or so. I had cramps like that for about 3 days.

Don’t worry about getting in to see a doctor right away. I won’t see my actual doctor until 8 weeks, I am scheduled to see a prenatal nurse tomorrow though which is 6 weeks based on my LMP, I think I’m only 5 weeks though. I am seeing the same ob gyn I’ve been seeing for the last 3 years.

@emersynsmommy35:  I also had implantation bleeding (which was, what I thought, a legit period because it wasn’t all light and cute-sy like every website says it should be) and since I was having BAD cramps in the beginning, especially on my right side, they agreed to see me to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. I had a transvag ultrasound when I was only 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant…haha.  There was a little sac right in my uterus, but could’t see baby at all yet.  I was just super relieved it wasn’t in my tube.

@emersynsmommy35: Most doctors won’t see you until you are 8-10 weeks unless there’s a problem.  I am 6 1/2 weeks and my first appointment isnt until the first week of May.

Same here!  Dull cramps all day long on some days and I’m 4 and a half weeks.  So long as you don’t have bleeding I think you’re fine (and by bleeding I mean more than a spot).

I would’ve been around 4 weeks when I started cramping. I’m 6 weeks now and still getting a little bit of cramping. I told my GP (he was an Ob/Gyn before taking the GP job) and he didn’t seem too concerned.
