Since I just got my beautiful morganite on Friday, I’m totally obsessed. In trying to figure out just what color she is, I stumbled upon Wikipedia’s listing of all the Crayola crayon colors and can officially (I think) call her “Bittersweet.”
What Crayola crayon is your lovely gemstone?
Here’s my “Bittersweet” lady:

@humminbird: Such a fun thread… I think my anniversary RHR is either Midnight Blue or B’Dazzled Blue. Hard to tell on a natural blue diamond cuz the colors are all over the place. But this is fun all the same

This is fun! I’m going to go with Caribbean Green for the paraiba, even though it tends to get bluer in light and really glow in low light.
The ruby is easy: Ruby!

This really depends on the lighting. Most of the time she’s eggplant, plum, or royal purple. However I’ve also seen her green blue, pine green, and Burghundy (which this list doesnt have). Most awesome of all is when it goes Rainbow! This is typically right after sunset where there is no sun but just a little light left, the burghundy happens during the sunrise.

Although I don’t have a picture yet, my center stone (a star sapphire) is probably either Cadet Blue, Periwinkle, or Wild Blue Yonder. The topaz side stones are Mountain Meadow.
I love this topic!! 😀

I guess a combination between Aquamarine and Blizzard Blue- natural aquamarines are very light.
