I didn’t get to try on too many crazy dresses – I always felt bad not taking the appointments seriously, and the consultants I encountered didn’t see the types to want to let me play around with wacky dresses that I had no intention of buying.

But this is my engagement shoot dress, which is pretty crazy I think!

I tried on a Maggie Sottero dress that was COVERED in flowers! Not like texture, or appliques. Like little fabric flowers. I looked like a flower girl/child bride hybrid on stereroids!

@bigcitydiamonds:   If only the salon had allowed photos I’d have a photo for this thread – the dress looked like a compilation of at least six dresses, hacked up in pieces at random and sewed back together.  The bottom hem was crooked!!  OMG.  It was a nightmare.  The saleslady kept telling me that her salon was an “exclusive” for that designer.  *cringe*  at the memory….

Maggie Sottero Divina in blush was probably the craziest dress I tried on! Absolutely loved it, probably would’ve bought it if it wasn’t so dang heavy!! … And out of my price range, boo.

Not a wedding dress. But I’m a theater girl and out of all the plays I have done this was one of my favorite but also craziest! I almost burned it when the show was over cause it was a pian… but it was crazy and beautiful!

This dress made me feel like a table cloth in an old folks home

@bigcitydiamonds:  this one!! I started laughing the minute it was on so it drove my mom nuts cause she couldn’t see what dress it was. I had made a deal before starting that I had to show EVERY dress to them so out I walked. They all got a good laugh but to top it off, I got stuck in it when the consultant tried to help me out of it. That’s how I decided I need strapless, shoulders are too big now apparently.
