It might not be able to confirm O if you’ve missed too many temps. That being said, it doesn’t look like you’ve gone very far above your normal temps and your OPKs don’t look positive yet. Sorry. I know how frustrating long and irregular cycles can be. I’ve seen it happen a lot around these boards…regular text book cycles turn wonky when the person starts TTC. stress could be a factor in that as well!

hollyberry4:  ah long cycles/anovulatory cycles suck!  I am so sorry you are going through this!  Unfortunately I agree with FF – you havent had a substantial temp rise in order to pinpoint ovulation.  Ah you’re reminding me why I gave up using OPKs – they drove me even more insane.  Good luck – keep BDing and I hope you O soon!

hollyberry4:  The OPK that looks most positive to me is the one from CD 20 at 5 pm. The dip on CD 22 could possibly be your O date. It’s really hard to tell with the missing temps, though. I’ve seen some charts where the temps after AF trend gradually downwards. Since you are missing those 5 days, it’s possible that your temps gradually went down during that time, and if so, that could show a temp rise. But without them, it’s really impossible. It’s also possible that you did not O at all. I wouldn’t worry too much about normal cycle length, since it can vary. How long is your luteal phase normally? If you did in fact O on CD 22, then you are only about 9 DPO. But again, you may not have O’d at all. Hopefully you get answers soon!

I’m gonna go out on a limb here…. is it possible you O’d during the time you didn’t temp or opk, and now the LH test is reading your preg hormones? I’ve heard that at some point OPK can show ovulation when it’s actually pregnancy.

hollyberry4: I remember you mentioning your cousin in another post. I’m still so very sorry about that. The stress from that could have easily messed with your whole cycle.

I was going to suggest the same thing as Andthepupmakes3. You could very well be pregnant and that’s what the OPK is picking up. FX!!! 🙂

Or, you could be ovulating now and you just had an early LH surge with no O and now you are actually Oing. Both would explain the spotting.

And then there’s the chance that you are 9 DPO if you O’d on CD 22 and this could be implantation bleeding.

Or finally, you could be starting AF since you can get an LH surge right before AF.
