I’m not talking about one wedding dress and one short dress but I’m talking about two wedding dresses. I went bridal gown shopping this past weekend and I fell in love with many of the dresses.
The Amsale Serena made me feel like a bride. My girl friends want to see me in a sweet a-line Lasara dress. I ended up loving a spunky WTOO mermaid dress. I also loved every dress I tried on at Priscilla of Boston. Oh and then there was the Monique Lhuillier. I think the hardest part is picking just one. I might be able to narrow it down to two.
The best dress on me was the tiered mermaid dress but I can hear it from my mom now. She won’t like spunk or sass and would rather see me in something more classic.
I currently have two engagement rings because I can’t decide.

Is your wedding date August 18, 2012? If so, you have PLENTY of time to look around some more. I would just keep looking–try on plenty of dresses. The worst thing would be to get two dresses this soon and then end up regretting them both 🙂 And who knows–you might find one that totally wows you and you KNOW it’s the “one”!
However–if you do decide to get two wedding dresses, I don’t think it’s crazy. I’ve seen a few bees do this! And if it’s in your budget, then that’s even better.

Crazy is kind of relative. I have 2 ball gowns because I wanted a white dress and a red dress. My family thinks I’m crazy for it, but the fabulousness is totally necessary.
