I'm not sure what a cake topper dress is. If FI is on board, I think it sounds like a good idea.
I am a little confused. You will purchase a cake topper that is shaped like a dress and take pics with it over the next year or are you purchasing an another actual dress? Sounds like fun either way!!!

We spend all this energy, angst, and time for ultimately one day, and 15 minutes of a ceremony so I have this idea of extending the wedding feeling by buying a ebay cake topper dress- and taking it with me wherever I travel for the next year. My FI take pictures at various locations. It's sort of a reverse trash the dress idea.
Our actual ceremony is going to be a vegas chapel and I hope to have a Maggie Sottero Rosalyn or Cassia. So the cake topper dress is the opposite of what I want to be on "the day"
As an older couple we dont have a lot of memory pictures together and I thought this would be a fun way to build the portfolio.
whatcha think?
