I had a nightmare last night that I was getting ready for our ceremony rehearsal, and then I peeked in the church and my side was all there and his side was really sparse (we are not even having “sides”). Then I realized that I was already a half hour late for our actual ceremony! So I had to hustle to get dressed and throw my hair up, and meanwhile I was wondering how I was supposed to know what to do since we hadn’t had our rehearsal yet!
Is anyone else having crazy wedding-related dreams? I’d love to hear some happy dreams, too, not just the bad stuff!

I have one at least once a week! One was that the wedding was too big and I didn’t have enough food. The next one, it was too small and no one came. One was where the photographer was awful!!
I’m still waiting for the happy ones 🙂

I had a wedding-related nightmare.. it was about our up-and-coming engagement photo shoot.. For some reason my whole family was at our house waiting for the photographer to show up, including a guy who me & my Fiance worked with like 5 years ago.. haven’t spoken to him in likr 5 yrs?! When the photographer showed up she was drunk, we went to a really shady area in the city.. my Fiance was wearing blue mascara (wtf) and when the photographer showed me a quick shot of a picture on the camera I looked about 300 lbs bigger than I am in real life. It was AWFUL, so happy I woke up and it was just a dream!

Yes and now that I think about it I laugh but I woke up kinda freaked.
It was the day of our wedding and I went to get ready but the church wasn’t decorated, or the reception venue, we didn’t have the rings and my dress fit me like 2 times too big and FH didn’t have his suit. Everything was going wrong.

I have had some strange wedding dreams. One of them was that I couldn’t find the church and I was really late. (I have belonged to this church my entire life, yet in my dream I couldn’t find it). Another was that I put my dress on and it was flithy and ripped to shreds.
Another is that I wake up on my wedding day and the center stone in my engagement ring is upside down in the setting. It’s a round stone- and the point is facing up and it’s wobbling all over the place.
One last one is that instead of going to get married, we have the reception first. And I’m crying and crying because we will never be married now.
lol crazy dreams

Every wedding dream I’ve had is waaaayyyy off-the-charts-crazy. I don’t dream that I was late to the ceremony or that I forgot my vows, etc. The other night, I dreamt that in order to get married, I had to compete in Fear Factor (TV show), and I was supposed to stand in a coffin-sized hole in the ground, wrangle a komodo dragon, and pass it off to the next person. Then I was free to crawl out and get hitched.
Another time, my bridesmaids were on a boat that was sinking, but we hooked up a mcdonalds playplace tunnel to another boat and they made it to safety.
I think I’d rather have these dreams than legit wedding dreams….I have enough stress going on while I’m awake, I don’t need it while I’m asleep!

I seriously want whatever you guys are eating or smoking lmao! Some of these cracked me up!
The week before my wedding I had nightmares that I went to meet my Mr. at our wedding location and instead of my Mr., my ex-husband was standing there and told me he had kidnapped the Mr. and the wedding was off. Or that my Mr. went back to his stripper ex-wife or that I went to get married and I was standing there in my skivvies holding bloody flowers. Yeah, I had some doozies too lol. I think it’s all the stress, late night chocolate and extra coffee attacking the brain! LOL

I have had a few. My favorites were that it was wedding day and I realized I had forgot to order the cake. Since the cake was included with our venue, they sent whatever one they happened to have ready, not anything I would want. It was like a royal blue mayan temple. Then my dad came to walk me down the aisle and I was expecting him to say how pretty I was and all he did was look at me and he wouldn’t say it! I was pissed but then somehow realized it was because I had a short dress (what I really wanted). He didn’t think I was pretty! (I ended up getting a long dress btw)
But my favorite wedding dream has to be one that actually freaked me out when I woke up but now I think it’s funny. I dreamt that it was wedding day and I was super unprepared. I didn’t have favors done (or even bought) and I ddin’t have a garter, makeup or my veil steamed. I was not sure what to do. They had to show me the day on my computer so that I knew it was actually wedding day. Oh and the best part is that my BFF’s and bridesmaids were… J-Lo and Phaedra, one of the real housewives of Atlanta (a show I don’t even watch!). Anyways, they’re trying to help me get ready and I realize that I didn’t get any good makeup for the wedding. We all talk about it and realize that the best course of action is to run to Nordstroms and get some. So I take off my dress and we drive there. On the way I realize that I haven’t even sent out invitations so nobody will even be there. Then Phaedra starts talking to me about having babies and how Fiance and I need to have babies now because her baby is already a year old and our kids need to be friends, but I was crying because I wanted to wait to have babies. Super weird…

So it’s not just me having crazy dreams (well, one so far, but I suspect this is only the start)!
My favorites are the haunted veils and the Fear Factor dragon-wrangling. We are a creative bunch!
