I'm in a similar situation, sort of. My ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue.
To define an ailse, we're going to link the chairs on either side of the "aisle" with ribbon and have the guests be seated from the opposite side. I'm also going to line the outside lines with pedals.
If it rains and I have to have both the ceremony and reception in the same room, we're going to do the same thing. The aisle will be shorter but the chairs will be linked in the same way. Then they will be moved during the cocktail hour to transform into the reception room.

I need some help - my reception and ceremony will be in the same room and i want to make my ceremony look as different as possible. We will have two large flower arrangements on pillars to denote the 'altar' and all my chairs will be in a semi circle around this area. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to really define an aisle (inexpensively) in a classy way?
Thanks so much in advance!
