I would get going on it. You will definitely change things on there before the big day and it is one more thing to cross off the list. We did half on one day and than I did the rest little by little online and finally decided on a china pattern two weeks ago! (we registered in November). If you have been together think of registering somewhere for fun things/upgrades for your home like a Pottery Barn, etc. GL!
I would go ahead and get going on it too. Not really because anyone will buy anything now (although you never know) but it took me much longer to get my registry together than I thought. After the initial day I spent out registering, I've been working on the registries from home for weeks. I thought it would take like 2 hours, but it's way more work than I thought.

Ok, so I have been reading about people creating wedding registries months and months in advance (friend recently go engaged and was already creating a registry for a wedding a year away). I am at the almost 4 month mark and haven't even thought about it. Should I drag FI out and start a registry ASAP? Just seems a little early to be telling people what to buy us for our wedding. Plus we have lived together for 7 year now and not sure what I would even put on it? What's the 1 item on your registry your really hoping someone gets you?
