I played with idea of an altered domino ornament for favors, so did some research (googling). Staz-On and Alcohol Inks were best for that project, but I would spend some time researching to figure out what's best for cardstock. The alcohol inks were super cool, btw. And the clear plastic stamps (acrylic?) actually worked really well (and i was testing on posterboard, so i think they would work well for you too). Good luck!
My mom used to do alot of homemade cards. This is the brand she would use but i dont think you can by from their website. It says use dye-based inks becasuse it stays better on cardstock. i would check michaels. I used her ink for my STDs...i found a really cute bride and groom stamp at michaels :) and i thought it turned out really well.
i used the pad in the pic, it worked really well on dark metallic cardstock. purchased at Michaels.

I'm making some grand plans to try and do my own invitations/paper products. I've found some super cute stamps, but I'm at a loss- there's so many different types of ink out there. Who knew?
Did anyone come across a brand that was superior than others? Is there a certain ink to use on cardstock, or does it matter?
