Our centrepieces were done with feather boas. Sorry no pro pics yet, just the one I took:

The ones you found are very pretty and creative! I can’t decide which I like better.

I’ve had that jello centerpiece in my inspiration book since it was first published by Rachel Ray. I gave it to my florist and she tried it and it was not easy. I tried it on my own and also came to that conclusion. I’m now doing a variation of the jello centerpieces on my own since my florist told me that she would not work with jello, but would be willing to do anything else.
It’s really difficult to get the flowers to sit properly in the jello – they keep floating up to the top, and then when the jello gets close to setting, all of the flower petals fall off.
This was the first test. In my second test, I filled the entire vase with jello, and all the flowers still floated up to the top, so the amount of jello that you use doesn’t make any difference.
My variation is that I’m using individual fake flowers, and setting them in a small 3″x3″x3″ vase and pouring the jello on top. I’m hoping that this will look ok. I haven’t done my trial yet, but I plan to have four on each table.

those all look great!
my Fiance and I will be using books as part of the centerpieces, a small pile with flowers on the top, similar to this:
and with a book standing up for the table name (we are naming each table after a book)

Wow the jello looks super cool!
Personally, I love all of the centrepieces with loads of candles.. They are so simple but dazzling. I saw a blogpost on the here where a Bee used glasses from IKEA! I love this site for all of the amazing, crafty DIY bees that make me feel like awesome is personally attainable.

@musictchr25: Thanks for the tips….I was seriously thinking about this.
But my mom was concerned if we put so many candles next to the vase, they might melt later on 😛
Another suggestion I have maybe consider having multiple layer of jello. Like layering first around and put some flowers on, then pour a second round and lay down some flowers…so you will make sure the flowers stay where they are.
But this will sound a lot of work thou :/
