Actually - the cake was the only idea I had haha.
I just googled, and I honestly got nothing besides "buy pink or blue napkins". Wow pathetic.
You can get a shirt made that says your granddaughter or grandson and has an arrow pointing down:)
I tried to think of more but my pregnancy brain is really getting to me...sorry! I'll try to come up with some more.
Both of you should wear head to toe pink for a girl, or blue for a boy. His parents are sure to ask why he is wearing pink pants...right?
Ok, I got nothing! I was thinking cupcakes!
@heathaah: The all one color outfit was my only idea.
Hmmm... if one of them sews or does crafts, you could ask them if they could make you an outfit or something for the baby and then show them a pattern that reveals the gender?
Or you and your hubby could just constantly drop the word "boy" or "girl" (e.g., "boy, this dinner is delicious!") and see how long it takes them to pick up on it?
This is a tough one! :)
Thanks for all the suggestions Ladies. I think we've decided that we'll buy his dad two birthday balloons and mix in one its a.... balloon for that family gathering. For thanksgiving we'll be spending the night before at my Grandma's house and she always decorates heavily. The night before we'll steal one of her stuffed animal turkeys and put it in gender appropriate booties/socks and tie a its a... bow around its neck and see how long it takes people to notice that the turkey is dressed up.

Anyone have any cute ideas on how to reveal the baby's gender to the grandparents? We should be finding out right before FIL's birthday and Thanksgiving so I definitely want to do something cute for each family at those celebrations. I've read a lot about baking colored cake but my MIL always does the baking and would be offended if I tried to bring dessert. Same thing with someone on my side of the family. Any suggestions?
