I’ve been thinking more and more about having a typewriter and having our guests type out a message to us. I would love to bind it together after the wedding into a book-type thing. …now I just need to find a typewriter!

You’re on the same track I’m on – those are all the places I’ve started looking! I want an authentic looking one, but so far I’ve only found the “newer” typewriters (or the older ones that cost way too much money for my budget).

I want to take a flip flop and traced it on chip board and retrace it on cardstock than apply it for the guestbook so that the chip board/with the flip flop on top and cardstock would open and people can sign the paper …or do this but with a starfish on top

Or do starfish paper tracing and hang them up on something beachy

I tried to find my inspiration picture but I guess they took it down because now the website isn’t working :S…or it’s just me.

@jestsagirl I saw one at an antique shop and good will recently that both seemed to work, at the time I thought it was so random to see them both on the same weekend.. maybe it was a sign! Of course if I were to go back they would be gone now, just my luck!

I’ve never posted a pic so I hope this works. We didn’t want a book book guestbook and we wanted more than a frame with a picture of us so… I made silhouettes of us (easy using a profile pic and photoshop!) & cut them out  of nicer paper. Everyone who’s seen it so far has loved it!

The pic is too huge – how do I make it smaller? I resized it in Photoshop but it isn’t working

I love the idea of signing a bottle of wine. We probably won’t have one, but if we did, I would do that.

We’re doing a picture frame that’s 20*30 with a 4*6 picture of us in the middle and having everyone sign around it!
