I was going to do a scrapbook that had the card, the RSVP card they sent back (tho' not all did, which really ticked me off big time) and a photo of them at the wedding, if we have one.
But I'm lazy, so I haven't begun this...
So for now, they're in a pretty little box with the guest book.
If I'd thought about it in advance, I would have designed and ordered (I DIY'd ours) a larger guest book so that I could have one page per guest/couple/family and put their card, etc. with their guest book page. Oh well. Hindsight...
ooooh, good clal princesskittyHI! i'm sooo gonna try to do that!
Depending on the card, I was thinking of slicing the card in half and displaying them on 12x12 scrapbook pages and then a book. I was going to arrange them so that you can read the message and see the cover. The cards are so pretty themselves that I don't think they need much more decor.
I am also doing something similar to snowpea. In fact I've made a small 8.5 x 11 scrapbook for a friend before. I only kept the part of the card that had a note and the front cover. I glued it on each page and decorated with stickers & embellishments. Adding a picture of the guest would certainly be a nice touch! I got some really nice cards too by the way.
I've been putting them in a scrapbook too...I think it's a nice keepsake to have. I can remember looking through all of my mom and dad's old wedding cards and really loved it...I want my kids to be able to do the same (as well as the hubby and I years from now!).
Target has some albums specifically designed to hold greeting cards from a wedding. Go to www.target.com and search for "card album"

Hello! I was going through all the cards our friends and family gave us for our wedding, and I was wondering if anybody has a suggestion or creative idea of how to display or organize these cards. (instead of putting them away in a shoe box). I was thinking about doing some sort of scrap book. Any other idea? Thanks!!
