I think the sash would be great, as long as you can remove the bow on the neckline (bow's gotta go!)
This girl is just so sassy and cute!!!! Haha
I agree that the bow has got to go! You could just recycle it and move it to the bodice and maybe add some gemstones or a button or something in the middle of the bow. If not, a flower would totally work.
And that girl is just too cute!
i agree about the bow too. i think the ruffles are enough. but i think that bow is distracting me! haha....but maybe without the bow, a thick plum sash...i think that would be gorgeous!
I know! I can't stand that bow....it is so tacky. thanks guys!! I am going to go shopping to some trim shops tomorrow to see what ribbon options i can find. I just saw these sashes on etsy that can be really cute. I think I can maybe make something like that and tie it around the waste. I just have to see what I can find in the trim shops. Oh and the bow is just stitched down so it seems like it will be easy to get off.
Cute dress and love the price! Lose the bow - cheapens the dress. I'm thinking a big organza sash with a big bow in back or silk flower
i saw really cute dresses at jcp the other day! They even had petal dresses!
I like the one you picked out too!
I was so shocked how cute the dresses were at JCP! We started out loving this $130 dress by Luna Luna in a boutique shop but I couldn't see spending that much on a dress they would wear most likely once! And than everywhere else we looked had only pink dresses which I don't want. Than we went into JCP and didn't think we would see anything but we saw this and it looked so much cuter when she tried it on.....except for the bow..lol...but for 25 bucks!...we just couldn't pass it up. I know something cute can be done to it with some creativity.

Hi Guys! So yesterday we bought our two flower girl dresses from JCP of all places! $25 each! But I want to jazz them up a bit. I was thinking maybe somehow adding a thick ribbon sash and adding a cluster of silk flowers to it around waist but I am not sure the best way to go about this or if it will look cute. The dress is a lilac color and you will see in the pic it has a tack on bow/small flower at the neckline which i don't like at all. I think it makes it look really cheap...which they were but I think they are still adorable and with some creativity can be even cuter. Our wedding colors are plums/ivory and greens. Would a plum sash with plum/green cluster flowers look sweet? Any other ideas from you guys would be awesome!! This will have to be a DIY project for me so how to's will be helpful also! Thanks so so much.
