My Fiance and I LOVE pictures...we have had lots of fun pictures taken of us by friends, and still are getting engagement photos taken and we want to think of fun ways to display our pictures at our wedding. (it is more or less our wedding theme). Some ideas we have are....

Polaroid picture board: Have people take instant pics with polaroid and put pics on a decorated board

Photo Scrapbooked guestbook

Coaster like cards with our pics on them with trivia about us on the back for the tables

Blown up engagement photos on easles (this will probably be at the entrance by the guestbook)

Framed wedding pics of our parent

Does anyone have any other ideas that you have done, seen, or heard of with using pictures??

Have you considered a photo booth for your wedding? Sounds like it would be perfect for the two of you!

As for picture displays you could get old windows (try craigslist) and place photos in windows like in the picture below.

There's picture frame luminaries as seen in Martha Stewart Weddings where you print photos on vellum and place in picture frame with a candle behind. These are great for table numbers too. We did these and attached three frames together to make a triagle and placed a battery operated tea light inside each triangle of frames.

I don't remember who posted on it, but one of the Bees had pictures of a wedding where they hung pictures on fishing wire almost like a curtain. It looked really cool. I've searched, but I can't find it.

Anyone remember the post I'm talking about?

I remember that post and have tried my hardest to locate it again, and can't. I think it was posted late in the summer, but even flipping back through the months, i'm turning up empty handed. I am crossing my fingers that someone can help us!

I love the photoluminaries!
