I want to have guests tell a favorite memory or piece of advice. I was also thinking of including family/friend's wedding photos in our decor so I may include that in the RSVP too.
We were going to add a line for song requests to be played at out iPod reception, but decided to do that through our wedding website instead.
You should check out Mrs. Spring Roll's post on RSVP cards. There are a lot of great suggestions given, including one from a bride who had her guests draw pictures of robots for them.
I'm all for the doodles! :o)
I love creatively-phrased "yes" and "no" responses -- and am hoping a brain wave leads me to the ones we'll use on our invites -- and a spot for guests to jot a notes to the couple!
We are doing a traditional response card and then another one entitled 'Send Us a Note' - which is mad libs style.

Even if it's not "creative" be sure to leave space for people to write notes. I've really enjoyed some reply cards, and a regret is so much easier to take with some kind words written below!
The first one is the one we went with, but the others were some fun options we can up with.

we are doing something traditional with a little twist!! our wedding is in maine and about 90% of our guest list is not from maine! for our rsvp cards, i bought a bunch of antique post cards from maine from the 1930s and 1940s...i went to etsy and found a lovely lady that made me a stamp and it has a bee on the top (our :theme: is meant to bee) and then it is says
m_____________________
____will be there with bells on
____regrets not being able to make it
when i get them...i am making a sticker with my xyron machine to make a sticker to put over the address portion..on the sticker will be their table number...i just couldn't throw them out!! and i didn't want to waste a ton more paper on escort cards...lord knows i've used enough paper throughout this planning process!! yikes!

Is anyone doing anything creative/different with their rsvp cards? I have heard of some couples including a blank space for people to write in advice or to draw/doodle a pic. I am thinking of the former and want to know how this has worked out for other brides.
