YAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! Even though I knew it was coming in a few days, I was still blown away. He went to the store to put gas in his truck and brought back ice cream. He made me a bowl and brought it out to me in my jammies in the living room (as I was working on our unity candle!). I picked up my spoon and heard something klink - I thought he gave me two spoons by mistake - and then I looked.... his Grandma's ring was around the handle of the spoon. I asked him something silly like why he was giving it to me (!?!?!?) and then he smiled and he got down on one knee, told me how much he loved me and wanted to be with me forever and would I marry him? I cried sooo hard. He even cried too!!!! I shook my head yes, couldn't even get the words out. OMG!!! I can't believe it happened. It was perfect. It was so cute and not too serious and laid back... all just like us. It's such an amazing feeling. He already changed his FB relationship to 'engaged.' Let the planning commence!!!! Oh, and my ring will be ready in about a week so I will be sure to show you guys that baby!!!!!

@Jaxx - no engagement chicken, but I did make a pork tenderloin the other day. lol. And he got sick this weekend (not from the pork tenderloin!!) which is why he was home today and not gone already for work this week.
