My ex ran up my credit card while he was injured/out of work……I mean….ran it up a lot…….like so much (my own fault, I should’ve paid attention, I should’ve sued, blah, blah, blah) I paid it down to a managable amount over the last two years and now I have one more payment to make next month and to ensure I wouldn’t ever use it……i cut that bitch up and it felt AMAZING! (I also cut one up that I never used and made sure it was cancelled so I wouldn’t be hit with hidden fees).
I’m elated right now. Such a lovely since of accomplishment and it was a nice little reminder that the nasty ex and his financial damage is almost completly gone.
That was the only debt I had but it’s such a relief knowing it is almost gone!
Alright my mini brag is over.

@MrsFarm0619: Great job! We are going to reach this milestone in about 6 months and I know it’s gonna feel sooo good!
Just a piece of (unsolicited advice), do NOT cancel this card once you’ve finished paying the card off. It will hurt your credit to close down (what I presume) are older accounts. Your best plan of action would be to keep them open, use them at lesat a nominal amount and pay them off every month.
