The Cricut expression is bigger than the Cricut personal cutter, but they do the same thing. I can't remember what size paper the expression fits, but the personal cutter fits 6inx12in paper. I have the Cricut personal cutter and it's been fine. If you plan on cutting really big shapes or letters then the expression may be better.

In light of Miss Duckling's latest raves about cricut products, I started doing some looking - and lo and behold, saw that for this week Joann's stores are selling cricut personal cutters for only $99, cricut expressions for $199,and cuttlebugs for $54. Thought some of you might be interested.
