I just saw a commercial for them on tv :) and came to post the same thing!
Except the commercial I saw looked like Crikut, not Cricut... is it the same product?
it's a Cricut! ;) and yes i saw it on tv last night and them found the ad to post hahahahahaha oh addiction to WB!
@amariem - it's a dye cut machine, and yes they're usually anywhere from $150+
if you can get your hands on one, it's a great DIY tool to have for wedding related and scrapbooking projects!
Thats awesome!! I have a Cricut and I love it, but I wish Fi would've gotten it for that price!!
I saw the commercial too. It is not the Cricut Expression, but I think it does everything the Expression does, only on a smaller scale.
I am not sure when the sale ends, but with big lots, it is hit and miss, so if you want one, I would get there as soon as you can.
I just checked the ad, and the sale is for the 14th and the 15th. Good luck to everyone who wants one
I went and bought one today! The big lots in my town had 6 machines available. I waited in line in the cold outside the store since 9:20 to get one (they opened at 10).
It's pretty awesome though! I had no idea it would be so cool. I'm trying to decide if I should get Sure Cuts A Lot now. I have the one cartridge that came with it and then I bought a tags & boxes cartridge.
Who else bought one today?
Ooh, I didn't but SCAL is worth it if you have Illustrator... sooo worth it. those cartridges are expensive!
I went by but they were sold out in the 4 stores closest to me by like 3pm today. Stupid--why advertise a 2-day sale and not stock enough to make it more than 1/2 way through the first day? i guess they're just trying to keep you in the store </rant> I think i'm going to use a 40% coupon to get one at michaels tomorrow or something. Also, Make the Cut seems to be getting decent reviews and is on sale until i guess midnight tonight (no idea what time zone...) here for $58 instead of $78 http://craftyscrapping.com/make-the-cut/

lergx6- you can't use the 40% off coupon on cricut machines or supplies or any other cool little tool like that :( it's in the fine print of the coupon. another way to get our money because they know those are things we would use it on!
kellyandbaudner--I KNOW!! I just found the coupon and saw that! That's crap. bah--i'll have to figure out some other way of saving lots of money :-p
In case anyone missed the sale today ... JoAnn's latest ad has the Create for $85 starting on the 21st :) No idea if it'll be online as well...

They have excellant customer service and great prices. The Create is more than $85 though, but they are generally less expensive than either Joanns or Michaels, even with their sales. Their cartridges are also less expensive and they have more variety than where I live.
