I know my wedding is a long way off, but I keep debating over whether I want to wear my crinoline or not. I didn’t really think it was necessary for my dress, but of course I let the sales lady talk me into it. Now that I have it, I’m not so sure. I pulled my dress out and tried it on [twist my arm, why don’t you] with and without the crinoline. I don’t think I’m objective enough to decide, so I thought you lovely bees could help me. It’s a very subtle difference, but I can still see it. This is obvioulsy pre-alterations [hence me holding it up behind my back and the long hemline].
Option One: No Crinoline
Option Two: With Crinoline

I think it will hold its shape nicer with the crinoline, although I don’t see a big difference in the photos. But when you get walking and such it will help to have it.

def agree with pp- you need the crinoline… crinoline will help the dress keep its shape thru out the day and look fuller in pics.. i used to be a bridal consultant and for fuller skirts its standard to get a crinoline.. if you dont love it – do somethng fun to it.. dye it or sew colored ribbons into it to make it more fun.
good luck deciding

You wont see it as much in the photos, but when you start to move it’ll be more comfortable with it.

I didn’t vote because I can’t see a difference. You should go with whichever you feel most comfortable in.

The crinoline makes a big difference, I actually added more tulle to mine to get it to hold the shape out even better.

@xdaydreams05x: You barely see it. I can only really tell when I look at the bottom left side of the dress.
It looks like everyone thinks crinoline, haha. It’s at 93% to wear the crinoline right now. Keep the votes coming!

I think the crinoline makes the ruffles sit better. like they look a teeny bit droopy in the first picture and perfect in the second one
