I didn’t want to pay the crazy amount they were asking for a new crinoline, so I ended up buying one online from another Bee!  It was $40 plus a few bucks for shipping, and it came in like 4 days.  Best idea ever.

@BetterSherm:  I also bought mine online. To be honest I just looked around at different brands (and decided to get a jupon). My guess is that if you find it too full you could take a layer out or add a layer in if needs be. I bought it for something like 70 dollars and did take a risk but it paid off as I am really happy with how it is with my dress. I was mainly just concerned about having one that was a mermaid/fit and flare shape and that did not have a hoop. So once I found what I was looking for I figured it would work with my dress.

Good luck!

it really depends on your dress i think.  if you have a heavy dress you may want a fuller crinoline to maintain the shape with so much weight. it also depends on how full you want your dress to be.  i would try to try some on with the dress just to see the look and then buy elsewhere.  they are always expensive at the shops.

The crinoline I bought has an adjustable draw string waist, and more than one layer of tulle, so if need be I can have them remove a layer of tulle to take some of the fulness out.

my plain crinoline was about twenty with shipping and my hoop skirt was about forty with shipping.  i have seen them costing over a hundred at stores before. so if you find one you like reasonably priced go for it.  sixty doesnt sound too bad if you know its just what you wanted for sure.
