I like the 3rd and 4th pic chair settings. They include the ruffle.. but still look classy. I personally think #1 the chairs look kind of thrown together. The navy blue will look really good. I like the idea of a shimmer overlay to add a pop of sparkle.
I understand the need to have the head table to be somewhat different, but to me, the difference in the ruffles does not make for a cohesive and well-planned look.
Pictures 3 and 4 look best to me.
Five just looks messy to me.
Would love to know how they did the chairs in pic 1.

Hi! So I've picked out some linens for the reception, and I want to do something different for the head table. Let me know if you think the head table idea will look cohesive with the rest of the tables' design. Thanks!
The second, third, and fourth pictures are what my regular tables will look like: We are having a dark blue shimmer underlay, with a sheer navy swag draping, crinkle ivory topper with silver cord and tassle, and navy ruffles in varying textures and shades. The chair covers will be ivory with the same navy ruffle in the center, and some of the chairs will have ivory covers and navy ruffles along the bottom, as in the first picture.
The last picture is what I'm thinking of for the head table. We'd do the same fabrics as for the ruffles on other tables, with the same topper. We would not do chair covers on that table, most likely. Would that look good, or do you think that those are two different looks? My other idea was to do the same thing as the other tables, but in all ivory linens rather than navy. Any comments or critiques would be appreciated!
