I'd only give this advice because you say you don't like it. I think it's fine, but like you mentioned, it's kind of generic.

First, I'd move the date from the top to below the save the date. It will be more striking without that small amount of text above.

Second, you can make your names stretch across the whole page by spacing out between the letters (kerning or tracking). Or - if you decide to move something to a side to skew the symmetry, I'd consider putting your names the biggest where Save the Date is now, then putting Save the date for the wedding... in the corner below.

I'd want to play around with any of these ideas before I'd commit to them, but I hope this helps!

I mean, put all the text in the corner.

I'm not sure that would work, but I'd want to see it and give it a try. In my taste, I like a little right alignment. My favorite idea (in my head) is to stretch your names across the whole page. I like that too.

I'm sure whatever you do will get the attention of your guests!
