Ooh, I hate to say it... but i liked the date at the top! Maybe just if it were bolder?
Otherwise, Love it! I think its very nice!
Oh, and just from a design standpoint... the graphic behind "Save The Date" is not centered. (Sorry if that was too nitpicky!)

I'm gonna have her bring the graphic down cause it's all squished right now, but if it still looks naked, maybe we could move the "Save the date" and "for the wedding of" and then put our names on the black bar.
Aw I think your names on the black bar would be so much better! because, you know, you're the focal point of this anyways :)
I think it looks great. The only thing I would say is maybe try putting your names in the script font and the "formal invite" part in print instead

I have to agree with cinemaparadiso -- i prefer it with the date at the top, however its really beautiful!
I really like the final design. I like that your names are a different font so they stand out more.
Looks great! I love when the couples name is a different font, so pretty!
I love the right aligned text. I'm doing that style on my invites too!
