Hi Lina, I’m a wedding planner and here’s my feedback:

– You should allocate at least 1h 15 min for your reception dinner. An hour isn’t enough time. I would put in 90 mins to be on the safe side.

– I would not have a cake cutting immediately after dinner. People are stuffed and not ready for cake yet. I’d leave 60-90 minutes between the end of dinner and cake cutting for people to dance. Dance = burn calories = people get hungry again. Then feed them cake.

– I’d push the bouquet/garter toss until later in the evening. Like at 10pm or so. People like to dance before jumping into yet another event.

– Your wedding is too long in general 4pm-11pm (7 hour wedding) is exhausting for you, your guests, and your vendors. The sweet spot is 6-6.5 hours. In your shoes, I’d push the start time to 4:30pm.

– You’re not going to need 90 minutes for bridal party photos. You have a small bridal party and this is overkill. I’ve never seen this take longer than 30 minutes. Ok, so one time I had a bride who had 13 bridesmaids and 13 groomsmen. That took 45 minutes.

Hope that helps!
