- Wedding: October 2013
One week until my wedding day, and the only thing I’m worried about is getting all our pictures taken care of. I’ve actually had nightmares about this! Fi & I are doing a first look, and while this might be out of the ordinary, i’m having all grandparents and aunts/uncles/cousins arrive to the venue early so we could get the formals out of the way. I’m not really that picky about others seeing me before walking down the aisle, because I just want to get those important pics out of the way and enjoy myself. So here it goes:
9:00- Arrive at hotel we’re getting ready in for hair and makeup.
3:30-5:20- Photographer arrives. Bridal portraits, pictures of dress and misc. items, first. We have our first look, all our couple photos, pictures with bridal party, and just our parents.
5:20-6:00- Limo takes us to venue, about 25 minutes away.
6:00-7:00- Formal Photos with extended family in temple sanctuary.
7:30-8:30- Cocktail hour. In my culture, cocktail hour comes first. I’m in hiding in my bridal suite for that one hour, which I don’t mind since all the rest of my guests and bridal party get to mingle instead of worrying about pictures.
9:30-1:30- Reception with all those little things in between.
Do you think that’s enough time for pictures? Also, how long did your formals take you? Any suggestions?
