DH and I are looking to move from the East Coast to Colorado, but we are both having a hard time finding jobs. Some people say it’ll be better if we just move there and then try to find a job when we get there, but that is awfully nerve racking. Does anyone have any advice regarding this? Thanks.

In this economy, DO NOT move without one of you having a job out there there that makes enough money to support you both. With the economy how it is, it can takes months and months (and sometimes over a year) to find a job.
Plus, you are more likely to get a job when you already have a job, so if you leave your jobs and move out there, you’ll make your prospects worse by being unemployed.
